DISC is a specialist agency, focusing on people who have fallen through the net of statutory provision and who many agencies struggle to help. Our work is structured into four main areas:
- Drug Initiatives: Supporting people to stop using drugs and reduce the harm to themselves and others caused by drug use
- Employment Initiatives: Helping people who are disadvantaged in the labour market to get and keep a job
- Housing Support Initiatives - Helping people to access and retain appropriate and good quality housing across North of England including Lancashire (Compass floating Support Lancashire)
- Children Young People & Families (CYPF): Enabling vulnerable groups to live safely in the community.
More information can be found on the DISC website.
DISC is a local partner of Emmaus Preston.
