Second Hand Superstore Opening On Saturday 18th October 2008
After months of preparation the Emmaus Preston Group finally can announce that the opening of its second hand superstore is nearing its final stage. Only some days to go anymore until Saturday 18th October 2008.
Obviously this means that all our residents are now working at getting the shop on Stanley Street ready for opening on Saturday.
The outlines of the commercial area in our shop have been marked out already and right at the moment are shop has been almost entirely filled with furniture already. You can have a sneak preview at our Flickr set. Over the next days we will further fill the shop with cheap, second hand furniture, electrical appliances and bric-à-brac.
Because of the preparations for opening we sadly will not be able to come and collect items this week, but will start collecting items again next week.
Like last week we will be at Preston Markets again on Tuesday. If you wish to drop off items this week, feel free to come to our shop from Wednesday to Friday.
On opening day we offer every customer 25% discount on our already cheap prices.

Good Luck on opening day in the shop Franky and all the Companions. May it stay dry and the roof is fixed at last.. I know all the hard work that has been put in will make it a success.

Thanks, Graeme. The opening was a success, more about that in an upcoming post though.
Hope everything’s fine down in Brighton.
